In the novel, the landscape of 19th-century London comes alive as Charles Dickens takes the reader alongside characters' own personal walks across the city. Inspired by these passages, A Walk Home presents photo-narratives in triptychs that tell the stories of students' walks home, taking the viewer along a visual retracing of the human in the non-human subject matter of their South Los Angeles neighborhood.
A Walk Home Exhibition will be on view during the Dorrit Lab Festival and the Little Dorrit evenings shows, January 26-27, 2018.
